Editing & Mixing
The Rolling Stones 50th Anniversary Tour
The Third Company were making a testimonial video for The Rolling Stones’ 50th Anniversary Tour. I edited and mixed archive Rolling Stones material and blended it with testimonials from Johnny Depp, Iggy Pop, Martin Scorsese, Elton John, Pete Townshend, Cate Blanchett and others.
The finished piece was played before the band took to the stage at the Hyde Park shows in London, including the concert marking Mick Jagger’s 70th birthday, as well as at shows in New York.
Pete Maher:
“I brought Steve Belgrave in to handle sound design, mixing and editing duties to the total satisfaction of The Rolling Stones!”
You can hear the full audio here. Edits were super fast, with each second of audio in need of sonic microsurgery!
