Cookie Policy (UK)

Last updated 30 August 2026. This Cookie Policy applies to citizens and legal permanent residents of the United Kingdom.

1. Introduction

Our website, emixpro.com, uses cookies and other related technologies. For convenience, all of these technologies are referred to here as “cookies”. This document tells you which cookies are used, what they do, and how you can control them.

2. What are cookies?

A cookie is a small, simple file that is sent with the pages of this website and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer or another device. The information stored in it may be returned to our servers, or to the servers of a relevant third party, on a later visit.

3. What are scripts?

A script is a piece of program code used to make our website function properly and interactively. This code runs on our server or on your device.

4. What is a web beacon?

A web beacon, sometimes called a pixel tag, is a small, invisible piece of text or image on a website used to monitor traffic. To do this, various data about you is stored using web beacons.

5. Cookies we use

5.1 Necessary cookies

Some cookies make sure that parts of the website work properly and that your preferences are remembered. These include the cookie that records your own cookie choices, and, if you log in to the site, the cookies WordPress uses to keep you signed in. We may place these cookies without your consent, because the site cannot work correctly without them.

5.2 Statistics cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, for example which pages are viewed and how people arrived. These cookies are only ever placed after you have given consent for statistics. Consent Mode is set to denied by default, so nothing is collected until you choose otherwise. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.

5.3 Marketing cookies

We do not use marketing or advertising cookies on this website, and we do not build advertising profiles from your visit.

6. Embedded content

Where we show work hosted on Vimeo, the page loads only a still image served from our own website. Nothing is requested from Vimeo while you are simply reading the page, and Vimeo sets no cookies at that stage.

If you click play, Vimeo’s player is loaded into the page so you can watch it here. At that point Vimeo receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, in the same way as if you had visited Vimeo directly. Vimeo’s own privacy policy governs what it does with that information. If you never click play, none of that happens.

7. Your consent

When you first visit the site we show you a notice explaining the cookies we would like to use. You can accept, decline, or choose which categories you allow. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie preferences link in the footer.

8. Enabling and disabling cookies in your browser

You can also use your browser to delete cookies automatically or manually, and to set it so that certain cookies are not accepted, or so that you are told each time a cookie is placed. For more information, see the help section of your browser. Please note that the website may not work properly if all cookies are disabled. If you delete cookies in your browser, they will be placed again with your consent when you next visit.

9. Your rights with respect to personal data

You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

  • You have the right to know why your personal data is needed, what will happen to it, and how long it will be retained for.
  • Right of access: you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: you have the right to supplement, correct, have deleted or have blocked your personal data whenever you wish.
  • If you have given us consent to process your data, you have the right to revoke that consent and to have your personal data deleted.
  • Right to transfer your data: you have the right to request all of your personal data and transfer it in its entirety to another controller.
  • Right to object: you may object to the processing of your data. We comply with this unless there are justified grounds for processing.

To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details below. If you have a complaint about how we handle your data we would like to hear from you, but you also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
